Kaitlin N. Spikes, O.D., FAAO
Dr. Kaitlin N. Spikes graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a degree in Biology and received her Doctorate in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After optometry school she completed a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Veterans Healthcare Systems of the Ozarks. Her passion and special interests include diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, contact lenses management and dry eye syndrome.
Dr. Spikes is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association and has received awards including the Dr. Milton Webb Optometric Leadership and Service Award. She has given lectures and presented case studies on various topics including myasthenia gravis, narrow angle glaucoma, third nerve palsies, and the use of therapeutic lenses following a stroke.
In her free time, Dr. Spikes enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband, family and friends, and supporting the community through the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas and the Lion’s Club of Fayetteville.
